Cheri Elson Sperber Takes Over for Allen Drescher

It’s been a long run, but after practicing law and supporting the Ashland community for more than 44 years, Allen Drescher retired last month.

Set to take over the practice is attorney Cheri Elson Sperber, P.C., who relocated to the Rogue Valley from Southern California in 2014. Cheri has been licensed to practice law in California since 2001 and was certified by the State Bar of California’s Board of Legal Specialization as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Law. She is a skilled attorney ready to help the Southern Oregon community navigate life’s challenges with integrity and compassion.

Schneider Museum of Art Celebrates 30 Years

This year, the Schneider Museum of Art will celebrate 30 years of being a vital force in the cultural and intellectual life of Southern Oregon University (SOU), Ashland, and the region.

The Museum was founded in 1986 by Florence and William Schneider and a host of community supporters. It is the largest visual art museum between Sacramento and Eugene, offering exhibitions and programs of contemporary visual art that are challenging, engaging and thought-provoking.
