Club Northwest Celebrates 20 Years

February 2017

Club NorthwestMy, how time flies. On February 10, Club Northwest (2160 NW Vine) will be celebrating twenty years in business. Owners Scott and Annette Draper have lived in Grants Pass their whole lives (Scott was born here and Annette moved with her family at age 14) and both are passionate about serving others in wellness.

According to Scott, the Club is more than just a fitness club. “We feel we are at the center of a fitness and wellness revolution,” he said. “The Club is a retreat for the celebration of healthy living, welcoming people of all ages, fitness and recreation goals. It’s a lifestyle as comfortable, friendly and healthy as the Pacific Northwest itself.”

As far as fitness goes, the Club offers a wide range of services, including personal trainers, fitness coaches, multiple weight rooms and circuits, a women’s only workout area, indoor rock climbing, basketball, volleyball, tennis, racquetball, yoga offerings, weight training classes, step, many water offerings, and more, including belly dancing.

There are also hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms for after the workout.

The new well is a weight loss and wellness center at the Club which “addresses the four essential pillars of effective, lasting weight loss, including whole food nutrition, one-on-one counseling, effective exercise, and soothing relaxation, put together in one dynamic program tailored to your weight loss and wellness goals.”

And of course, if you want to be pampered, the Spa at Club Northwest offers everything from massage and body treatments to hair care, skin care, makeup, waxing nail care, enhancements, medical aesthetics, Aveda treatments and more. You can “indulge in luxurious comfort, nurturing care, and well-deserved attention” at this award-winning day spa.

Meanwhile, the kids can be entertained at the KidZone, which is 60,000 cubic feet of slide tubes, ball pits, and an event space, all supervised by a fully-trained and caring staff.

“I really believe we serve the best members in the world with the best staff in the world,” Scott said. “Many of our dedicated, professional staff have been chosen as the best of the best in their craft of serving others in wellness. And in our quest to provide the uncommonly good wellness experience to each and every member and guest, we have invested back millions of dollars into our facility and offerings. Our donations to the community have topped $1 million. At the core of all this has been the fulfilling journey of helping thousands to discover and explore the joy of wellness.”
