Staying Healthy with The Grainery’s Help
February 2017
When it comes to health, D’Anna Da’Camara of The Grainery Health Food Store (130 NE F) thinks it’s important to listen to what your body is telling you.
“Disease is simply dis-ease, because the body is designed to heal itself,” D’Anna said. “Symptoms are simply the body speaking to us, telling us to take action and correct the condition. And that’s what we do here at The Grainery. We educate people about different options and approaches for health and wellness. We provide free resources, literature and samples of all of our products. Every product is backed by science. Knowledge is power, and we empower our people.”
D’Anna moved to Grants Pass several years ago to be closer to family and, in fact, her niece Shandy Long helps out in the store. “They’re ranchers, and I traveled between Grants Pass and Lander, Wyoming, to operate our sister store there,” she said. “I moved here permanently and helped expand the Grainery.”
D’Anna has an M.A. in Psychology and practiced holistic wellness for over 20 years. “I am a seasoned expert in my field and have spent years studying how health and nutrition affect the body and mind,” she said. “I’m motivated by witnessing the fantastic improvements in people’s lives when they apply these methods to restore health, prevent disease, and even reverse disease.”
The Grainery provides personalized consultations to discuss health issues and provide them with helpful products and information. “Our supplements are highly engineered, advanced formulas based on scientific research,” D’Anna said. “We have organic, non-GMO, whole food supplements, and we cover the whole gamut, from women’s health, children’s health, men’s health, and pet supplements.”
They also carry the all-natural cosmetic line “Larenim,” plus a studio for free makeovers and a professional make-up artist for all occasions. All of the bath and body products are derived from natural, organic botanicals.
“We support and are a member of ‘Vitamin Angels,’ a nonprofit, non-government organization focused on bringing essential nutrition to children around the world through vitamin supplementation,” D’Anna said. “We provide special discounts for people from all economic backgrounds, so our products are affordable to families of all incomes.”
One last word? “Remember, prevention is the key to health,” she said. For more informa-tion, call 541-916-8150.
