Home and Garden Décor at “Revive”

The “use what you have” approach to decorating homes and offices is enjoying a resurgence thanks to consumers who are thoughtful about the impact of what they buy on the environment, and on their wallets.

Revive, a furniture and home decor shop at 264 4th Street in the Railroad District (across from Peerless), has been encouraging this approach for nearly five years. The store features a constantly changing, eclectic collection of beautiful, mostly recycled items for home and garden.

Doug and Becky Neuman, owners of Neuman Hotel Group, which includes Ashland Springs Hotel, Larks Restaurants, Waterstone Spa, Lithia Springs Resort, Inn at the Commons, and Ashland Hills Hotel, have opened a third restaurant, Luna Café and Mercantile in the Ashland Hills Hill. Together with their partners Mike and Laura Naumes, their vision of the south end of Ashland as the favorite stop over will bring vitality to the region.

Scarpetta Opens in Ashland

Petra Jung and Tony Travanty’s search for the perfect location for their restaurant took them on a six-month journey through the western United States. They finally found the ideal spot. The result of that search, Scarpetta, opened just recently at 145 E. Main Street in the former location for Pita Pit.
