A Street Print Parcel

From a box of homemade cookies to a precious piece of art, we often need to send things to family, friends and business clients who live all over the world. How do you make sure those things will arrive safely?
The experts at A Street Print & Parcel (258 A Street, across from Ace Hardware) will get your package safely packed and delivered—and save you time, money and headaches in the process. The family-owned business is your one-stop, go-to place for packing, mailing, and much more.

Owner Steve Barnard is a longtime Ashland resident, who started with A Street Copy in 2008. Ignoring the advice of well-meaning friends, Steve followed his heart and began leasing a small space from the former owner of A Street Copy for a FedEx shipping center. A year later, he leased the entire space and hired a graphic designer. Six months after, he bought the business, renaming it A Street Print and Parcel—Community Business Center.

“We call ourselves a ‘community business center’ because of all the services we have for our residential and business patrons, as well as for visiting tourists,” Steve said. “Besides packing and shipping, those services include designing and printing business cards, brochures, signs and more; copying, binding, faxing and notary authorization.”

The business is a FedEx-authorized and United States Postal Service-approved shipping center. No matter the size or value of an item, Steve and his team will find the safest, quickest and most reasonably priced way to get it where you want it to go. They even build custom packaging for special items.

“I have several local artists who routinely ship highly valued works of art,” Steve said. “I build wood crates and package art and other valuables with the utmost care.”

A Street Print and Parcel is family-owned, local and committed to giving back to the community. “We live here, work here and support our community in many ways,” Steve said. His daughter, Whitney, and son Nick also work in the business.  The family donates or provides discounted services to organizations such as the Jackson County Fuel Committee, Rogue Valley Farm 2 School and others.

Whether it’s returning items left at local hotels to their owners or building a special crate to transport a sculpture around the world, A Street Print and Parcel has earned loyal customers by doing whatever it takes.  “Our customers find that we are down to earth, courteous, affordable and efficient,” says Steve. “We go the extra mile for folks and they appreciate it.”
