Great Flowers and Gifts
at Eufloria
You gotta love businesses that start off small, then work their way to the top. Eufloria Flowers & Garden Gallery, located at 449 E. Main (near the 76 gas station), is one of those, having humble beginnings. Owner Kellie Kinkead purchased Linda’s Flowers in 1984, which started as a portable bucket shop underneath the Jackson Hot Springs’ large billboard sign in 1979.
Kellie is a 30+ year resident of Ashland, a real “down home florist” offering something for everyone for every occasion. She grew up in Astoria, Oregon, and studied floral design in the San Francisco Bay Area.
“I have always had a deep passion for colors and textures, designing flowers for over 39 years now,” Kellie said. “Working with flowers is my pallet; it gives me the perfect 3-D canvas. I love working with fresh flowers and creating beautiful floral fantasies. I enjoy meeting new people and nurturing my long-time customers, as well as customers from my bucket shop days.”
Eufloria is an eclectic shop with beautiful crafted sculptures. It has the largest variety of concrete statuary in southern Oregon, which includes angels, Buddhas, pagodas, and whimsical animals. Also available are textiles, jewelry, art and, of course, some incredible orchids and tropicals from around the world. Eufloria supports local organic floral famers when supply is available.
Eufloria always has affordable gifts in stock, from hand-crafted pottery and Tillansia air plants to succulents and lots more.
“Come inside Eufloria and take a journey for all your senses with our 40 varieties of flowers and beautiful gifts,” Kellie said. “Come and meet Dominique Volet, a European-trained floral designer, and Beau, our official greeter and live Corgii for a dose of unconditional love for all ages.”
Eufloria is open six days a week, Monday-Saturday. Valentine’s Day is rapidly approaching, so for the best selection, place your special orders early.

Carpet Cleaning with Clean As a Whistle
Dale and Lisa Gilbey, owners of Clean as a Whistle Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning, know the cleaning industry inside and out. “We’ve been in the business for 28 years,” Dale said. “We believe education is our uniqueness. We are eager to learn and are always open to new products and better techniques. We strive to give each and every client the best customer service experience we can possibly produce.”
Lisa’s parents introduced her to the business in her teens, and both she and Dale love what they do.
“We decided we wanted to work for ourselves, so when we moved to Spokane, WA, we started a large commercial and residential cleaning company that was very successful for ten years,” Lisa said. “In 2000—due to family circumstances—we decided to sell the business and return to Medford. It was a great move for us, but we had to start all over.”
Clean As A Whistle offers professional carpet and upholstery cleaning services, including tile and grout cleaning, commercial janitorial, pressure washing, and Oriental rug cleaning.
“With our cleaning service, you can rest assured that we will leave your carpet soft, fresh and free of carpet-cleaning residue,” Dale said. “We can also remove those pesky pet-related stains and odors. Our technicians are professional and highly skilled, as they go through extensive training before getting onto our company. They also go through a thorough background check and are drug free.”
Customers, according to Lisa, can expect to be fully satisfied with their service. “We feel good communication between ourselves and the client is essential,” Lisa said. “We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee, and if someone is unhappy, we fix it right away. We have made many lifetime relationships with our clients and expect many more in the future.”
