Thank you, friends, and neighbors, for your patience with the recent construction activity around Beach Creek. It’s been a long two-year endeavor, but the comprehensive effort of “smart development” takes time and lots of patience, but we believe it’s worth the effort. Beach Creek will be not only an asset to our community, but a very livable and sustainable community for generations to come.

Beach Creek is an innovative community that seamlessly connects surrounding neighborhoods, parks, and the central bike path and is conveniently located within walking distance to schools and downtown. Homes will be certified Earth Advantage Platinum, Net Zero, Fire-Wise and Life-Long Housing for aging in place. We intend to offer homes without methane gas, also known as “natural gas,” a highly harmful fossil fuel and a dangerous greenhouse gas pollutant.

Besides its overall plan layout, the Beach Creek neighborhood includes a variety of socially responsible characteristics, such as reclaiming, restoring, and dedicating the Beach Creek corridor for natural habitat and public enjoyment. The corridor is anchored by a community park located at the corner of North Mountain and the new Wheeldon Way. Through this thoughtful effort, we were able to preserve one of the oldest homes and some of the most stunning oak trees in Ashland.

All the new streets will be lined with park strips and street trees. Over 400 new trees will be planted! Homes with front porches will front the street served by alley-loaded garages, some with ADUs over the garage. This thoughtful planning helps produce attractive street facades and human interaction.

The homes will range from 800 to 2,400 square feet, providing ample living space for families of all sizes. Some of the homes have been designed with multi-generational living in mind. The houses are consciously designed for livability and comfort, featuring open floor plans, large windows, and high ceilings, allowing for natural light to flood the spaces. Our energy efficient homes feature high-performance windows, increased insulation, energy efficient appliances, and so much more. All this, combined with solar power, produces homes that require little power to run, thereby reducing energy costs and carbon emissions.

Beach Creek truly is a unique and innovative community that offers a sustainable and enjoyable lifestyle. Living in this community means enjoying the best that Ashland has to offer, from the natural beauty of the parks to the vibrant downtown scene. One of the best things about Beach Creek is its proximity to everything in town.

We expect to have the subdivision plated by mid-June and begin vertical construction immediately after. Our first homes will be completed in late 2023/early 2024.
