Quality Air-Conditioning and Heating at Allied Comfort Pro

September 2019

Countryside Village RetirementWe’re approaching that time of year when we’ll gradually start switching from air conditioning to heating. And trust me, the last thing you need is for your Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) unit to go on the blink.

To the rescue is Allied Comfort Pro, a Rogue Valley company that has been family owned since 1985. Owner Adam Berg grew up in Ashland and graduated from AHS. His father opened Allied Heating & Air Conditioning, and as a child, Adam always tagged along to job sites.

“It was a natural fit when I started working for him at age 15,” said Adam, who completed the HVAC Apprenticeship Program through RCC. “In 2013 I took over and restructured the business, naming it Allied Comfort Pro. My wife Kristin is the Office Manager and handles all of the bookkeeping. She grew up in Medford and comes with over 20 years experience.”

Allied Comfort Pro serves all residential and light commercial HVAC needs. The locally owned business places the emphasis on superior customer service, and they are an American Standard Customer Care Dealer and Mitsubishi Diamond Elite Contractor.

“Customers can expect great service,” Adam said. “We work hard to earn and maintain our reputation as a company committed to quality in the products we sell and workmanship we perform. We treat each job, large or small, with care and give it the thorough attention that discerning customers expect.”

Allied Comfort Pro offers new installations (both retro-fit and new construction), service, repair and maintenance. The also offer a preventative maintenance program called S.M.A.R.T. (Service, Maintenance, and Repair Tracking). It provides regular tune-ups and proper maintenance of your heating and air-conditioning units, including duct cleaning for both residential and commercial locations. They also offer indoor air-quality products.

“We are a family run business and our entire team is an extension of our immediate family,” Adam said. “In six years we gone from three employees to 20. We make sure all technicians are well trained and educated on a variety of systems. We provide factory training and state-recognized apprenticeship training to our field service technicians and installers. I love going to work and hope to pass along the company to one of our sons, both of whom work for us.”
