The evolution of Casablanca Coffee & Grill from a small coffee shop at 686 Union Avenue (nestled between the hospital and Fairgrounds) to a drive-through restaurant offering a healthy selection of food in three different locations has been an interesting one. In 2006 Chuck Losoya decided he wanted to open a coffee shop.

I have a soft spot in my heart for River’s Edge Restaurant, located at 1936 Rogue River Highway. The “house” was turned into a restaurant back in the winter of 1979 when my friends Smiley and Ronnie brought Mexican food to Grants Pass by opening Casa del Rio.
