New Owners at Paradise Car Wash & Express Lube

My car right now is filthy and looks as if it just returned from a road race in the Baja. Where to go when I don’t when to spend two hours trying to get it clean? Paradise Car Wash & Express Lube at 110 NE Hillcrest Avenue would be my first choice, where new owners Shawn and Lynette have transformed it into a car owner’s “paradise.”

High Quality, Compassionate Care at GP Surgery Center

When the Grants Pass Surgery Center (GPSC) opened in 1998 at 1601 NW Hawthorne Avenue, it was the result of several local surgeons pooling their resources to better serve the community. The list of owners now includes five general surgeons (Drs. Alexis Alexandridis, Mark Deatherage, Corey Fawcett, David Oehling and Brett Shulte); four orthopedic surgeons (Drs. James Van Horne, Robert Bents, James Dowd, and Bruce Perry); three podiatric surgeons (John Castle, DPM, Monika Froehlich, DPM, and Mark Simchuck, DPM); a dental surgeon (John Waschak, DDS); an ENT surgeon (Daniel Fear, MD); and one primary care physician (Brian Mateja, DO). Most have lived, and practiced medicine, in Southern Oregon for decades. The CEO is Steve Loftesnes.
"Our doctors, nurses, techs and staff are amazing," Loftesnes said. "I have never worked anywhere where I've received the amount of praise and high level of appreciation that I get here about our staff. They genuinely care about and take care of their patients ... and it shows."

A Holistic Approach at Heal Your Life Center

When Susan Timmel and JoAnn Roberts opened the Heal Your Life Center (308 SE H Street) in February 2014, they were determined to make a difference in peoples’ lives.
“We are a Holistic approach center, looking at all aspects of an individual to help them gain a physical, emotional and spiritual balance while feeling empowered in their personal and professional lives,” Susan said. “We offer massage therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Raindrop Therapy and Reflexology, as well as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), and Heal Your Life workshops for individual and groups using the philosophies of Louise L. Hay and based on the book You Can Heal Your life, which has sold over 40 million copies worldwide.”
Susan had a background in marketing and advertising, then transitioned to massage therapy and Reflexology after her daughter graduated from high school.
