FLOWERS & GIFTS AT PROBST FLOWER SHOP

It was a sad day in December 2023 when Pat Rezac of Probst Flower Shop passed away. Pat was a hard worker and volunteered a lot of time to the Towne Center Association, the American Legion, and the baseball teams at the All-Sports Park.

Probst Flower Shop was established in Grants Pass in 1938 by Helen and Dewey Probst. The Rezac family, who moved to the Rogue Valley in 1971 from Nebraska, and in 10079 bought the business from Jean Furnas, who bought it from the Probst family. It was located downtown for a number of years. In 2003, Pat and her sister Michelle, who were now sole partners in the flower shop, opened a second shop in the Williams Highway Plaza at 1626 Williams Highway.

“We combined the stores in 2009, and in 2012 we took over ownership from our mom,” Michelle said. “We’d been business partners all those years until she passed away.”

Probst Flower Shop is a full-service floral business, specializing in fresh flowers, tropicals, plants, dish gardens, contemporary and traditional arrangements, high-style floral arrangements, silk and dried floral arrangements, weddings, funeral designs, gifts, gourmet and fruit baskets, gift baskets, greeting cards, and candles.

“We deliver flowers, plants, and giftware in the Grants Pass, Merlin, Williams and Rogue River areas,” Michelle said. “We can also send flowers out of town or state through our wire services. Customers can expect great service and expert floral designs. We are family owned and operated, and we are committed to offering only the finest floral arrangements and gifts, backed by service that is friendly and prompt. Because all of our customers are important, our professional staff is dedicated to making your experience a pleasant one. That is why we always go the extra mile to make your floral gift perfect.”

The shop is open 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, and from 9am to 3pm on Saturday. To help ensure on-time delivery during the busy holiday seasons, it’s always important to place your orders one day prior to the holiday. Easter is only four days away, so keep that in mind.
