Great Service at Oregon Mattress Authority

Oregon Mattress AuthorityIt was just in January of this year that entrepreneurs Nik Martin, Brandon Glasscock and Danielle Ryan decided to pool their talents by opening their own business, Oregon Mattress Authority, located at 424 SW 6th Street.
All three were born and raised in the Rogue Valley and are local high school graduates. Nik has 18+ years in the furniture/mattress industry. Brandon has an extensive background in sales and shipping/receiving. And Danielle has worked in sales, in addition to a recent three-year career in the banking industry. Together, they figured they could make the business work.
Nik, who also attended sleep school, said the store is service oriented.
"I take pride in helping our customers find the perfect mattress to fit their needs and budgets," he said. "We carry mattresses that are made in the Pacific Northwest, like Englander, which has been in business for 120 years and makes one of the best constructed mattresses with a coil system that I've ever seen. And they have an awesome price point."
Brandon agreed. "We also carry Easy Rest gel deluxe beds, which are made in Spokane, and Lady Americana, which is made in Washington state," he said. "For furniture, we carry Backyard Pallet Designs, made right here in Grants Pass. We also carry Coaster furniture, and Lifestyle Solutions. We have mattresses at every price point and strive to keep the atmosphere light and fun."
Nik pointed to a lot of things that make Oregon Mattress Authority unique.
"We are the only mattress store in Southern Oregon to offer beer/wine samples for those over 21, plus food and sodas and live music on First Fridays," he said. "We strive to make the mattress/furniture buying experience laid back and fun. We're two dudes selling beds."
On a more somber note, Brandon suffered a brain aneurysm two months and is working on recovery.
"He has had amazing support from customers and local businesses," Nik said. "We're especially grateful to the Oregon Pour Authority and the Cigar Café; Remy at Anytime Fitness; Debbie at A Show of Hands; Don and Susan at KMED; Glenn at the Rocky Tonk; everyone at KLDR/KAJO; and Bea Ryan at Umpqua Bank. I know we missed naming some businesses, but thank you! We are truly blessed to be operating a rad business in Grants Pass."
