NectarThe model that Nectar Markets uses to produce and sell cannabis is exactly what the voters thought they’d be getting when the approved the legalization of cannabis in 2015. According to owner Jeremy Pratt, “Nectar has roots in Southern Oregon and we wanted to be able to provide the city of Grants Pass with quality cannabis products, leading us to enter the market with it being one of our first locations in Southern Oregon.”

The store is located at 162 NE Beacon Drive, Suite 105. Marketing director Joseph Plaster gave a brief history.

“Nectar has been operating in the cannabis industry since 2014, originating as a medical cannabis dispensary,” Joseph said. “Nectar Markets is a chain of cannabis dispensaries that are all over Oregon with 40 locations. Our company’s mission is to provide the best accessibility and convenience possible when shopping for cannabis. The last thing we want is for anyone to not be able to buy cannabis from us due to the amount of money in their wallet, their distance from our store, or whatever keeps someone from visiting us, and so we see it as our duty to make engaging with Nectar Markets as easy as possible. We aim to provide our customers with a premier cannabis shopping experience by fostering an accepting and friendly environment for everyone who walks through our doors.”

At Nectar, the customer definitely comes first.

“Clients can expect to have a premier, friendly, easy, and even fun experience when shopping for cannabis,” Joseph said. “Nectar’s Grants Pass store design is of the highest quality to reflect our commitment to our customers, and our budtenders are experts in cannabis in order to help customers find the right products for them. Clients can expect to have their cannabis needs taken care of with dignity in a respectful and kind manner because we believe that one of the most important aspects of business and life is the type of environment we foster.”

Beyond cannabis, Nectar Markets offers a cascade of cannabis-related products, such as glass items, vape batteries, rolling trays and lighters. They also offer multiple different lines of Nectar branded merchandise, such as t-shirts, hats, stickers, badges, and buttons so customers can look good and feel good with all of the products.

And the product is carefully grown and processed locally, ensuring quality.

“Nectar Markets owns multiple farms right here in Southern Oregon,” Joseph said. “While we still retail products from other companies, many in-store products we carry are grown by us. The seed-to-sale business model we operate under allows us to provide quality products to the consumer, with safeguards at each step of the production and cultivation process. By doing this we are able to further our mission of bringing accessibility and convenience to our customers by taking charge of our supply chain and distribution network.”
