Frames for a Lifetime at Rogue Frameworks

Rogue Frameworks

December 2016

Rogue FrameworksWhether it’s a treasured family photo or a painting you’ve worked on for months, your art deserves to be framed in a way that sets it apart. The right frame, mounting and mat will enhance your artwork and give it greater impact—as well as  preserve its beauty for generations.
For most of us, though, choosing the right frame is overwhelming. That’s where Zach Ehlert of Rogue Frameworks (1644 Ashland Street in the Ashland Shopping Center, next to the Cinema) can help. Zach makes the process of choosing the perfect frame, mounting and mat seamless. He’s been providing custom framing solutions that transform artwork for clients throughout Southern Oregon and Northern California since 2010.

“My goal is for every project to be as close to perfect as possible and for every customer to be happy,” says Zach. He has an extensive choice of frames and hundreds of types and colors of mats, including truly unique fabric mats.
“So many options can be overwhelming,” he says, “but we can walk you through every step of the process to help you choose. I really enjoy helping people select materials and design their projects.”

Zach moved here after graduating from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma in 2000, and worked in retail for a time. He was especially drawn to the area’s natural beauty. He bought the framing business in 2010, when it was Bohemia Gallery and Framing. He kept the same location, but when he moved to the Ashland Shopping Center in 2012, he changed the name to Rogue Frameworks.

“I love the natural landscape around Ashland and spend much of my free time exploring the mountains, desert, and coast, and working on photography,” he said. “You can see some of my work in the shop.”

As a photographer, he brings an artist’s eye to his work, helping clients through the process of choosing the right style, color and size of frames. And if you aren’t satisfied with the final result, he’ll make it right.

“I offer a 30-day guarantee,” he said. “If you’re not completed satisfied, just bring your project back within 30 days, and I’ll fix it. If you switch to a more expensive option, you only pay the difference. There are no extra labor charges.”

Zach also uses conservation-grade materials to make sure your project lasts a lifetime. Although most of his work is custom, he offers a small selection of pre-made frames in standard sizes as well as an assortment of photo and document frames.

Rogue Frameworks is open Tuesday through Saturday, or by appointment. For more info, call 541-488-5227 or go to rogueframeworks.com. And you can like them on Facebook.
