Liquidating Your Estate with Estate Sales Sisters

May 2019

Estate Sales SistersSince I have six sisters, it always warms my heart to see two sisters working together as a team (and trust me, I’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly). And when Jeri Fuhrmeister decided to open a business to help people organize their estate sales, the first person she turned to for help was her sister Sherry Preston. And thus Estate Sales Sisters was born.

“For many years, we have been helping friends and family organize their estate sales and garage sales,” Jeri said. “I actually worked for TLC services when I first moved back to Grants Pass, which was a company that specialized in helping seniors downsize their homes. Helping people in this capacity has always been our passion.”
Jeri and Sherry were both born in Grants Pass, and after exploring the real world for a while, they eventually returned to the Rogue Valley to be closer to family.

“We both have a background in antiques and home décor,” Jeri said. “I also worked at Home Depot in Grants Pass for six and a half years in the pro department and garden center. Sherry also owned Early Attic—a store downtown on 6th Street for a number of years—and another store, Memories Past.

The sisters are “people” people, and they want to help everyone throughout the process of liquidating estates, big or small.

“We are honest and trustworthy and truly care about our clients,” Jeri said. “We want to look out for them and get the most return for their items. We provide all the resources needed to organize, display, research, price, and to sell the contents of their estate. We make is a professional and customer-friendly atmosphere.”

When using the services of Estates Sales Sisters, one can expect to see their estate sold with minimal effort. The team takes care of all the details, from advertising and setting up to pricing and conducting the sale. They also take care of final liquidations after the sale, plus all the moral support necessary when that beloved Hoosier is carried away by a next-door neighbor.
