The Avalon Bar & Grill

In May 2013 Medford residents Stefano and Anna Cipollone reopened the Avalon Bar and Grill located at 105 W. Valley View Road in Talent. The Cipollone's main focus is to provide fresh from scratch meals using local ingredients. "Our proteins are purchased at Cherry Street Meats in Medford and our vegetables from Phoenix Farmers Market," Stefano said. "Our draft beer is from Oregon, and we have a large focus on Oregon wines on our menu."
Stefano grew up in South Florida in his family's restaurants, and spent summers in South America with relatives. In his early twenties Stefano trained with chefs from all over the country while living in the mountain resort towns of Vail and Breckinridge in Colorado. He was able to help open new restaurants while developing his talent.

House To Home Gallery

For Angie Galpin, co-owner of House To Home Gallery located at 300 E. Barnett Rd., opening up a one-of-kind home design/consignment shop was as simple as gathering up all her past work experience and putting it under one storefront. "Whether you are building a new home, remodeling or redecorating, we are here to assist you," Angie said. Angie, a Rogue Valley native, grew up with the family's home construction business. "I love creating something that will last a long time, whether it be a new home or creating a new living space. I enjoy sharing my creative side with others. Our store has allowed me the opportunity to use all my past experiences from design, decorating, staging, and building."
