House To Home Gallery

House to Home GalleryFor Angie Galpin, co-owner of House To Home Gallery located at 300 E. Barnett Rd., opening up a one-of-kind home design/consignment shop was as simple as gathering up all her past work experience and putting it under one storefront. "Whether you are building a new home, remodeling or redecorating, we are here to assist you," Angie said. Angie, a Rogue Valley native, grew up with the family's home construction business. "I love creating something that will last a long time, whether it be a new home or creating a new living space. I enjoy sharing my creative side with others. Our store has allowed me the opportunity to use all my past experiences from design, decorating, staging, and building."
Angie opened the store in December 2011 with TJ Kohinke. After a career in logistics, his entrepreneurial spirit inspired him to start a business he could call his own. "I wanted to create something that would benefit our community," TJ said.
The two saw a need in the area and quickly began plans for House to Home. "We knew of many families that were downsizing or moving in or out the area due to jobs and the economy," Angie said. "We wanted to try and help our community and those in those situations. There is no place in town that showcased gently used furniture in a vignette style setting instead of a warehouse style."
They have also incorporated a full service design center into their business concept. "Our experienced staff will help you fulfill your vision -- pulling together all of the elements you need, from hardwood flooring, carpet, and tile, to stone and vinyl," she said. "We offer a great selection of Elk Lighting and Moen plumbing fixtures.
"Our biggest compliment is when someone walks into our store and says, 'Where is your consignment furniture?' Our store is 90% consignment of gently used furniture and home décor. Due to the way that we display our furniture people have a hard time believing it is mostly gently used."
An as with most consignment shops, the inventory is constantly revolving. "We never know what is going to come walking through the door," Angie said. We have been amazed at the quality of furniture that we have been able to re-home.
"Whether your furniture needs a new house or your home needs new furniture...think House To Home Gallery."
House to Home Gallery also offers pick-up and delivery service. The Gallery is located at 300 E. Barnett Rd, across from the Winco Shopping Center and is open Wed-Fri 10am-6pm; Sat and Sun from 10am to 5pm. Call 541-973-2607 for more information.
