Brandon Kidwell knows computers. “I’ve been in technology most of my life, either professionally or through various clubs and teams growing up,” said Kidwell, owner of Sunrise Computing, now in its fourth year of business. “I started professionally as a computer repair agent here in the valley with a small company and learned so much about the insides and outs of the computer hardware and how to fix them.” From there Brandon moved to an ISP (Internet Service Provider) and learned much about networking and the Internet. Since then he’s had several other technical jobs as a network and system administrator here in the valley.

“I started Sunrise Computing as a small part time job as I heard from several friends and family that they were having trouble finding good tech help—from not answering their calls to being hours late. I figured I could do better. And once word of mouth got around about my quality of work and prices I haven’t looked back since.”

Sunrise Computing is a full service IT shop for both home and businesses, handling anything from a simple virus removal to full cloud backups and disaster recovery. They also create websites and manage advertising for many companies.

“We are very mobile and come on site at no extra charge,” Brandon continued. “We are a very punctual and responsive team. We always answer our phones (or get right back to you) and try to get you scheduled as soon as we can. When we come on site, we will generally ask a lot of questions or may ask you to ‘show us,’; this helps us get a better idea as to what is wrong so we can give you the best quality service in a timely manner.”

For business clients, they offer full remote management and outsourced IT. “What this means is that you pay a per-device cost for unlimited IT support per month. We put a light-weight program on your computer that allows us to monitor it for any issues before they may even become an issue, and any issue we find we fix proactively before it becomes a major problem. This service also comes with industry leading anti-virus software.

“I strongly believe that taking care of your employees means they will take care of your clients. That’s why we start our techs off at a good wage and encourage and pay for industry training so they can always be advancing their career.”
