Dr. Erik Hill Joins Ashland Family Dentistry
Whether you are a devoted, never-miss-a-cleaning kind of dental patient, or one who can’t remember the last time you sat in a dentist’s chair, Ashland Family Dentistry (AFD) will take good care of you … and your pearly whites.
Brandt Cullen, DDS, started the practice in 2010 with Dr. Michael Henneman. They soon were recognized for their gentle, caring approach and their welcoming environment. “I take great pride in what we built together,” Dr. Cullen said. “I love dentistry and caring for my patients.”
Ashland Family Dentistry, located at 574 Washington Street, offers cleaning and exams, fillings, crowns, bridges, veneers, root canal treatment, dentures, extractions, and teeth whitening. The practice even offers same-day crowns and veneers using digital technology.
The dentists of AFD enjoy caring for their patients, says Dr. Cullen. “All ages are welcome. We have patients from age 3 to 101.”
Dr. Henneman recently decided to retire, so AFD has welcomed Erik Hill, DDS, to the practice last August.
Dr. Hill grew up in Grants Pass. After graduating from the University of California-Davis, he pursued a professional golf career for several years, eventually de-ciding it was not for him. “I realized how much I’d enjoyed the time I spent working in my brother’s dental office,” he says. He enrolled in the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, graduating in 2017.
“One rea-son I chose dentistry was based on some of my own previous not-so-pleasant dental treat-ments,” he said. “I wanted to give people a more comfortable dental experience, and I wanted to make a positive impact in my community, helping people improve and maintain their health.”
When he’s not practicing dentistry, Dr. Cullen enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his family, and giving back to the community. After graduating from Creighton University Dental School in 2006, he served five years in the U.S. Navy and continues to serve in the Naval Reserves. He is also involved with the Ashland Hospital Foundation Board, Lithia Springs Rotary, and the Elks, and volunteers with the children’s dental clinic of Jackson County.
Dr. Hill, also an avid outdoorsman, is busy exploring all the region has to offer, and getting to know the people of Ashland. “I look forward to a long career here in Southern Oregon,” he says, “and to serving this wonderful community.”
