Willie Gingg knows trees. He grew up on an orchard, worked in the logging business, and now for the past 15 years has owned and operated Southern Oregon Tree Care, LLC.
Starting out as a one-man crew in 2005, today Willie is the only ISA Board Certified Master Arborist in Oregon south of the Portland area. “This title is reserved for those individuals who have reached the pinnacle of their profession,” explained office manager Meghann Sumpter. “And on top of this he is also a qualified tree risk assessor.”
S.O. Tree Care is a fully licensed, bonded and insured company that covers all aspects of tree work, including pruning, removals of all sizes, pest and disease diagnosis, stump grinding, emergency service, consultations and much more.
“Our arborists will write reports and assessments for any kind of situation and need,” Meghann said. “If there is something not quite right about your trees, then you can schedule a consultation with our consulting arborist. He will be able to inspect the tree and identify problems, as well as give suggestions if needed.”
According to Meghann, the company strives to bring expertise and knowledge to every job. “We go above and beyond to bring a higher level of service to all our customers,” she said. “And our crew keeps up with continuing education to maintain our certifications and licensing. We do more than just tree work, we try to educate our customers and give them a better understanding of their trees.”
