Rogue Hair Design Under New Ownership

September 2016

Rogue Hair DesignKaylee Selee and Stephanie Gomez became the new owners of Rogue Hair Design in May 2016. And the Rogue Valley natives wasted no time putting their touch on the business. “We recently did a full makeover of the salon,” Kaylee said. “We want people to feel relaxed and comfortable while getting their services done.”

Both Kaylee and Stephanie grew up in the Rogue Valley going through the Phoenix-Talent school district. “Our families have lived here since the early 70s. Both of our grandfathers transplanted their families to assist in starting Fabricated Glass here in Talent,” Kaylee continued. “There are several generations of our families that have grown up in the Valley.”

Kaylee, who has been in the hair business for over 5 years, was born and raised in Oregon. She started working at Rogue Hair Design last year, and knew this was the perfect spot for her. “I love Talent, and know it is growing, while keeping the small town feel.”

Stephanie has been doing hair and facial waxing for 13 years. Born in Oregon, she lived in California for a short period of time. After years of working in Ashland, she decided to move to Talent. “The smaller, hometown ambience suits me well. I love the atmosphere and energy of the town.”

In June Summer Fessenden joined the team. Beginning to establish her clients, she will offer services for hair and nails.

“Talent is a close-knit community, so it is important to us that we keep the feeling of a friendly small town business, while keeping up with current hair trends and techniques,” Kaylee said. “We love taking classes, and thoroughly do our research to bring the newest styles and products to our clients. We value our clients, and could not continue in this business without them.”

Rogue Hair Design’s services include: all-over colors, highlights, balayage, haircuts for men, women, and children, styling, extensions, keratin treatments and more. They also offer facial waxing, manicures, pedicures, and soon gel nails. The salon also has a large selection of Loma products, an organic, sulfate-, paraben- and gluten-free line.
