Determined to improve patient satisfaction and healthcare delivery through evidence-based evaluation of complex problems, she obtained a Master of Science in Nursing degree in Leadership and Management through Western Governors University. She expanded her knowledge base, becoming a family nurse practitioner while obtaining her second Master of Science in Nursing degree while attending Georgetown University and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
