Here comes the sun, and wouldn’t it be nice to let it shine in through sparkling, clean windows? After winter’s elements have beaten up on your windows for months, those panes are in serious need of cleaning, and Bobby Castillo is ready to take them on.
Bobby has owned and operated Castillo Window Cleaning since 2012. He grew up in Tucson, Arizona, where he worked with his father in the family construction business—and learned his solid work ethic.
“I was raised to work hard, to be honest, and to give my best in whatever work I do,” Bobby said. “I’ve carried this work ethic with me in every job I’ve had. So when my wife Emily and I decided to start a window cleaning business, I knew this would be evident to my customers. My goal is to instill a sense of trust and confidence through the way I treat my customers.”
Bobby met Emily as a teenager while living for a brief time in the Rogue Valley. In 2009 they married, and shortly after, moved to Ashland.
“We really enjoy living in Ashland,” he said. “We love raising our son in a place that has such a tight community and is so culturally diverse.”
Bobby offers full service window cleaning and gutter cleaning services with environmentally safe methods. “Full service window cleaning means that in addition to cleaning your windows, I will remove and clean your window screens, as well as the bottom tracks of your windows,” he said. “For gutter services, the gutters and downspouts will be cleaned out and inspected to make sure they are draining properly.”
Bobby also provides a variety of “honey-do” services needed in and around your house, from changing a lightbulb to cleaning out dryer vents.
“If you need something done, just ask,” he says. “I put a great deal of thought into working in and around your home. With gutter cleaning, you can expect to have peace of mind every time it rains. With window cleaning, you can expect to have a great view every time you look out your windows!”
Bobby truly enjoys the relationships he has built with satisfied customers in the community.
“In the past five years I have cleaned windows for many Ashland citizens and it has truly been a joy to make connections and create roots in this way,” he said. “I get a fantastic feeling when I see how happy clean windows can make a customer.”
